Calendar of Events Aberdeen Hockey Association The Aberdeen Hockey Association sponsors Hockey at the Holum Expo building and the Expo Addition each year from October to March. Come cheer on your favorite teams at the first indoor hockey arena in the State of South Dakota. Liebelts Camper and RV Sale Held in both the Holum Expo Building and Aberdeen Ice Arena, this sale opens during the last two weeks of March. Bullorama This NPRA (National Professional Rodeo Association) event features some of the finest bull riders in the United States. The event is held during the first part of April Humane Society Rummage Sale Held in the Club House, located on the north side of the fairgrounds, the sale will be in spring and again in the fall of the year. Northeast Area Horse Racing The horse racing season begins in May and runs every weekend through Memorial Day. The horse track is located at the north side of the fairgrounds. Make sure to get here early to place your bets and won't miss any of the fun and excitement. Brown County Speedway This years schedule starts off on the first Friday of June. Races will be held on Friday nights through the summer and ending with the Winter Nationals in September . Don't miss a single second of action! We'll see you at the grandstands. The Brown County Fair The Brown County Fair opens in August. This year like in years past you can look forward to great entertainment, the rodeo, food, livestock shows, the Carnival, and other exciting events. Go Kart Racing Sponsored by the Aberdeen Go Kart Club, races are held on Sunday Afternoons at 3:00 p.m. The track is located on the Northeast corner of the fairgrounds just east of the Grandstands.
