The Centennial Village was started in 1981. The Village creates an atmosphere of a pioneer town of the 1880's to 1890's. It is located on the Southeast portion of the fairgrounds. Some of the buildings on Main Street are The Bank, Pioneer Press, Post Office, Harness Shop, The Saloon, General Store and the Church. Centennial Village is open for the two weeks during the Brown County Fair and then available by appointment only. The Village has now opened it's gate to Family Reunions, Weddings, and any of type of gathering. The fee is a donation to the Village that is used to add new items to the exhibits and maintain the current structures. |
