This position is responsible for the representation of individuals who cannot afford legal representation in criminal cases, abuse and neglect cases, juvenile cases, mental health and involuntary committal cases where the new Brown County Public Defender’s Office has been appointed to represent them. Candidates for this position may be designated “Senior Deputy Public Defender”, depending upon education and experience.

Primary job responsibilities are coordination and implementation of social media postings, event planning/assistance, gift shop assistance, basic research, gallery docent duties, and general museum assistance in the Education, Collections and Exhibits departments that furthers the promotion of the museum and its programs.

This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment in support of county landfill operations.

This position is responsible for the preparation and service of meals to inmates at the Brown County Jail.

The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner while ensuring a high standard of customer service. They will also maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Primary job responsibilities are answering phones, greeting visitors and coordination and implementation of social media postings, marketing, some limited graphic art, and videography creation. Assist in event planning and promotion of the Brown County Fair, along with secretarial assistance.

This position will maintain the fairgrounds yards, operate equipment, perform minor yard equipment repairs, and perform other miscellaneous job duties.

This position performs technical duties in the maintenance of county fairgrounds and related facilities.
